Adrenaline HPOP Upgrade

What is the purpose in upgrading the HPOP on 6.0 to one like the Adrenaline HPOP the make for the 6.0's?

looks like more volume oil or something. If you are trying to build more power or something. Larger injectors etc. But then i read down further, they are still testing it.
They say you can be a beta tester. Personally, if it aint broke, I wouldnt fix it. Or wait till they have been tested a little longer. Pretty soon we will be seeing all sorts of aftermarket stuff for our 6.0s. Then we can really build a screamin engine.

Bulletproof EGR cooler (Blocked off)
Oil cooler rebuilt
Coolant filter
Delvac EC-1 ELC

Swamps 58v FICM
High idle mod
SRW front wheel conversion
ARP head studs

Yes they are wanting people to test their product still. I was considering doing it, but I just blew my gaskest again! I know of a couple of people that are running them and love them. Get a hold of Bob over at Dieselsite and he will give you the lowdown on the HPOP.

You blew your HG's? I see in your sig you have ARP's. I'm considering doing studs, but so far I havent had any trouble from Eric's xtreme race tune. A little puking but eric told me it was normal and I just needed to lower my coolant level in degas bottle below min mark. Havent had any puking since. Just wondering if I should wait till they blow to put studs and new gaskets at same time. What conditions caused your gaskets to go with studs? EGT, Boost, etc? Sorry its off topic, just wanted to ask, thanks

Cracked head on the passenger side! The studs are good, just cracked the passenger side head. When I did the studs the last time, we took .008 off of each side and it must have made it just weak enough that the head let go.

Sorry to hear about that, how much work is involved? Do you pull the cab or the engine. Just gathering as much info as possible for that dreaded day!

Took way too much off the head

The 6.0 adrenaline is designed to flow more oil to support larger injectors.

The guy at the machine shop said that taking .008 wouldn't be to much, so I trusted his answer. Oh well, just a chance to upgrade a little bit more.

I cant remember but I think .003 is the max that can be removed from a 6.0 head. Ford actually says replace dont machine them

I pulled the cab and am going to do it the same way this time. It's really not as bad as you would think.

They are getting replaced this time. I have found a couple of places to get new heads. I am just going to put new heads, not port and polished or anything, because I can't afford a $3,500 dollar set of heads

I though max spec was .008
