Turbo burp or blow off?

I drove about 3 miles to vote this morning (I live a in corrupt little democratic township) and my truck made a “blow off valve” type sound. It only does this when the motor isn’t hot. If I have to let of quickly I hear this sound. Any issues or normal?

probably the exhaust back pressure valve or "ebpv" and its mounted on the exhaust side of the turbo... mine makes a hella noise when it opens

Yes, 2006 6.0. 4" turbo back.

isnt that compressor surge? it is ok for the truck, not the best but ok. In order to eliminate it I think you can run an 03 turbo. But I really like the variable vane turbo in stock form, but if you are going to modify the truck use the 03 turbo or a better one.
