4" turbo back DUAL exhaust WITh cat?
i saw this one on ebay eBay Motors: MBRP T409 STAINLESS 4" Dual Exh 03-06 FORD 6.0 PS (item 120092120632 end time Mar-09-07 12:12:30 PST)
mbrp but it has no cat... Am i correct to assume any "catted" systems just reuse the stock cat? Im looking for what sounds simple but hard to find 4" turbo back, still using the cat or aftermarket 4" cat? t304 stainless, 409 gets rusty looking and id like 304 ![]() dual side tips with 5" stainless/chrome high end, something that will look nice and last years with basic maintenance Dont want it too noisy, just some rumble when i get on the go pedal, nothing that whines like crazy or is loud at idle. MBRP T-304 S.S. Dual Turbo Back That looks like what im looking for, yikes $1160 or something... but only has a 3.5" downpipe? can they be ordered with a 4"? Yes, it uses the stock cat. I just put this very system on my PS last weekend, and ran it for about 4 days with the stock cat. It had a little bit more grunt than stock, but wasn't dramatic. If you want just a little extra sound, then run it with the stock cat.
After 4 days my cat delete test pipe came in. I put that on and was surprised. There is no loud droning in the cab at all, and other than a loud turbo hiss coming from the tips it sounds stock at idle. Step on the accelerator and you get a much better rumble from those tips, but if you leave the MBRP muffler on and run without the cat it isn't too loud. In fact windows up in the cab sounds stock. my 2cents B |
