Stupid Mistake!

As the title says I made a stupid mistake. When I was putting on my bypass kit the fitting that attaches to the oil filter cap somehow didn't get tightened down all the way, not sure how that happened...LOL. Anyway, I started up my truck and you can imagine what happened. Oil galore started pumping out! I shut down my truck as soon as I could but needless to say the damage was already done, oil everywhere. I cleaned up a much as I could, but ever since (about a week ago) I keep getting a faint smell of oil when I turn on my vents and not to mention a small trail of oil keeps running down out the back up under my turbo and down to the starter. I've took a water hose to it, but I still keep getting a small amount, and when I say small, I mean small, barely looks wet. My question is how long does it take oil to dang dry?! It's starting to irritate me...LOL

LOL, heck no zero pics this time. Man, I was highly upset when I did this, not like me to over look something like that. The oil is coming right up under the egr cooler and down the back. I know I'm a retard, lesson learned!

Yea, well I hate the smell and that it keeps running out the back. I shine a light up towards where the y pipe connects to the egr cooler and I can see it clear as day the trail that leads all the way down to my starter. I'm up there two or three times a day with brake cleaner cleaning...LOL Driving me nuts!
