Just picked up a Mishimoto radiator for my 04 6.0 6 speed truck,as my factory one turned into old faithful. (They only sell one kind from 03-07) When installing I came across the trans cooler lines don't fit. it has a double flare male hose end that goes in the orig radiator adapter. The adapter on the orig has fine threads that screw in to the radiator. The Mishimoto radiator has M18 x 1.5 threads. Do the auto trans have different threads? Doe"s a newer truck have different threads? I called Mishi and they said that they have never heard that and they do not make an adaptor with different threads. does anyone have any in insight on this?

Early and late trucks have different threads.
You're saying the manual trucks have the same style trans cooler? I didn't know they used a radiator cooler.
Several people will likely chime in on the mishimoto thing, I don't have a dog in that hunt.
