The usual common find... hard start when cold (even above 50 degrees), White smoke, loss of power... would warm up to op. temp and run well. Then after a while the warm up stopped helping matters. Finally got to the point I could not rev the engine above 2K rpms.
Trip to dealer for diagnostics equals FICM. 1200.00 later and one day, truck is back and running and starting perfect. Well perfect except for one thing.
At first I did not notice the change because I was so excited it was running and starting again. After a day of driving I noticed it did not have the pep it once had. I even reinstalled the Bully Dog (updated) and I can barely tell the difference.
I was told I may have been flashed with Fords C.Y.A. update to limit the injectors.
But it runs and starts great regardless.
