Need some imput guys!!! new tranny

Hey everyone!! I have an 07 Crew cab Powerstroke with 8"s of lift and 37's stock tranny and gearing. I have ARP headstuds and a EGR block off kit. Currently I am running a K&N cold air intake, factory exhaust straight piped, and a bank six gun that has been unlocked, and of course gauges to help keep and eye on everything!! Used to run a diablo predator but wanted shift on the fly for ease of pullin. Well my tranny is done for ford wants 3800 for a reman that if i do anything to it voids it. So i contacted BTS and they will build me a tranny for about a 1000 more. So ya'lls opinion would I be a fool not to go that route for the long haul and just dependability cuz 78000 miles and stock is shot!! I also plan on upgrading to a 5" exhaust can't see spending the money and goin from stock 3 1/2 to a 4.. I'm lookin into SCT programmer perhaps also if i can sell my banks!! Thanks for the help on any subject to do with this I guess i just need the extra push and all!!!

Well you are probably going to have alot of ppl tell you this but I would alomst bet you that the reason your tranny bit the dust is because of your banks tuner.

My honest opinion I would first say that the BTS tranny is well worth the extra coin. And secondly I would say ditch the banks carp and get yourself a custom tuned SCT. Im more than sure that you would be much happier with the performance aspect and your new tranny will thank you aswell.

BTS trans, cales SCT tunes and get rid of the crap K&N and put the stocker back in!

yah like everyone has said dump the banks and go with a custom tuned SCT... BTS or John Woods make nice transmissions...

LOL! seriously though, im with the others get rid of the banks and go for the sct, and you might as well spend the extra on the BTS thats not that much of a price difference really if you think about what your getting.

go BTS and SCT you will probably be alot happier in the long run with alot better parts
