Porus casting Oil Leak Hmm! Shop took heads off!

So the shop took my heads off again thought the gasket at the rocker box had a leak. Sent heads to mahine shop to have checked and they said perfect. Now it is all back together and I still have a leak!! Shop looked all day and they think it is coming from above the rocker gasket they say it is a PORUS casting from ford. They have a camera on the end of a cable and showed it looks like it is seeping right through the side. Anyone ever here of this problem?

In the Ford "oil leak" statistics, they lumped both cracked and porous heads into one category. They state that 1% of the oil leaks are due to these two issues. Your post is the first one I have seen on a porous block!

They want me to drive it a couple of days and bring it back. Then they are going to check it again and call my warranty company. Hopefully they will fix it at no cost to me!! Its not a bad leak at least. Maybe like a 1/2 quart through a oil change its been 2 days and not a drip to the driveway yet!
