More important than the brand is the type. DO NOT use outboard oil. Use a 2-cycle oil that is ashless. Usually it is marked as TCW-3. Walmart has their TECH something oil (blue bottles) that is TCW-3 ashless. But there are other brands that are also TCW-3.
The general rule is 1oz 2-cycle oil to 1 gallon fuel. Ex 30 gals fuel, 30 oz oil. EDIT: I said above not to use outboard oil. Well - I stand corrected. The Super Tech TCW-3 oil from Walmart is outboard oil. I apologize - My mistake. Last edited by SuperCrutyPS; 10-20-2009 at 06:48 AM. |

I thought that is what I had used before.
The new diesel power mag used Super Tech Outboard 2-Cycle TC-W 3 Engine oil in their test vehicle. The best thing they found however was not the super tech but the was the FPPF 8+ Cetane Improver. Another close competitor was the Opti-Lube XPD
