Codes after EGR delete
Just finished doing a complete EGR delete. Truck now is idling rough. No check engine light but the codes that come up are P0282 (which I think is injection ??) and P0403 and P0405 which I figured were because of the EGR delete. I am also showing code P0560 which has been off and on even before the delete. Local shop is good but dosn't know diesels very well. Wondering if the injection code is major?? Any help would be great. Thanks.

P0403 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Circuit Malfunction ; P0405 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor A Circuit Low. both caused by EGR delete.
As posted in your post on 6.0 motor problems, P0282 is #8 injector error. Again, could be caused by faulty FICM, faulty injector itself, or possibly a bad connection somewhere. |

What he said. The SCT will get rid of the EGR codes. The injector code however could be any of the above mentioned items
