Tranny hose replacement
I went and had my tranny flushed today with the BG system, but when I got home, the hose that they hooked into was leaking...the rubber one on the passenger side that goes from the hard line to the tranny cooler. So I called the local Ford dealer and they wanted $50 for a piece of hose that is about a foot long BUT it has 2 bends in it. SOOO, I looked up and found some things called Unicoil's made by Gates (the belt and hose people). I bought some hose and 2 of those Unicoils ($8 each) for about $22. The Unicoils prevent the hose from collapsing and the bar helps hold the shape. Going to replace the hose tomorrow. Anyone else use these before?

Well, it took me about 2 hrs but it's done. I had to use a dremel and cut-off wheel to remove the hose clamp on the cooler, but after that, it went pretty smooth. Replaced the spring clamps with regular hose clamps.
