coolant filter

How long does the coolant filter keep filtering unwanted contaminants. There is the first 2 or 3 filter changes and there is for sure contaminant but what about the 8th or 9th change. Will there still be contaminant to filter????

If all your after is pure clean coolant than you might as well filter it prior to putting it in the truck.. the purpose of a coolant filter on the truck to its filter and clean throughout the life of the coolant.just the same as an oil filter...i dont think you reach a point where you dont have to filter it anymore, most coolant filters have a disolveable conditioner tablet in them, once it gone, change it! so to answer your question direct, Yes, pretty cheap warranty to just change it regularly. thats what i would do anyways..
