2007 6speed manual high idle

sorry guys,

i know this topic has kinda been beaten to death here but still havent found what i am looking for?

i have a 2007 manual f350 powerstroke and i want to wire in high idle to one of my 10A switches.

still havent found if this works with the manual tranny... i cant see why it doesnt with the parking brake applied

also i am assuming its the same as an 06 6.0 i havent seen anyone with an 07 on here giving their imput.

thanks a bunch

Yes, it will work with a clutch truck as well. You wire it up just the same.

To use it, you will have to have the parking brake engaged and not touch the clutch. I suppose the Ford engineers figure that if you don't have the parking brake engaged the truck would roll. But, since my parking brake sucks, it will roll anyway...go figure.

Works great on my truck anyway...

It's weird because my parking brake doesn't even have to be engaged? I just flip the switch and go?

you need to use the purple with green stripe wire instead of the orange PTO wire. then all should work as you want.
