Oil Filter Cap?

Does anyone know if I can change out my oil filter cap without draining the oil? I just bought a oil bypass kit and it came with a new cap that needs to go on...Thanks

Yes you can. I've done it quite a few times.

Yea it is. I didn't know if the filter housing was pressurized or if oil was kept filled to the top of the cap.

So you never asked questions when you got your first diesel?

I'd bet my truck you didn't build yours without asking questions about what would work with what and how to do things.

I thought that was the whole reason for having a forum like this. To ask questions, share information and experiences, and help each other out. Thanks for laughing in another member's face. Classy.
