EGR Cooler

So I've read in a few posts that a 03 EGR cooler (the round one) is better. So if mine is the round am I less likely to have any issues with it? Also how can I be sure it is the round one? It looks round from the top and the blue sticker on the passenger side valve cover says 2003 model.

if it looks round from the top its an 03, some will tell you they are less prone to failure, but I will tell you alot of my customer own 03 trucks and their EGR coolers are blown.
