Chrome package conversion almost done!

Got my new grille in today. It's a knock-off but works great. The only problem is that the mesh in the side vents is chrome too, so I may paint those eventually. But, this and the tow hooks make it 2/3 of the way there.

Now for the mirrors....went to Ford and they want $140 a piece for the chrome caps Got to find another way...any help would be appreciated

Putco sells the chrome side mirror caps. They're around $125 for a pair.

Are they the stick on type that only cover half the mirror? I've seen a bunch of those on ebay but nothing like the factory type that replaces the whole piece

I'm doing 05-07 front conversion on my 04, my buddy that owns a bodyshop got the grill for me.
Just opened the box its a crome package grill instead of four bar standard. whats your original grill look like?

It's the standard grille that came on the 05s-07s, not chrome package but chrome nonetheless. Did you get the real chrome package grille? I like this one but its not a factory model. Wanna trade?

Yes, they're the stick ons. But they cover as much as the factory ones do. I had them on my '05 250 (see my garage) and liked them pretty good.

I saw the factory ones when looking at new trucks and I liked them a little better than ones I had (had that factory look, duh) but for the price, mine looked real good.

Here's a pic. I have a billet grille on in this pic, but I took it off (bolt-on). I can give you that too, no use for it
