Extended warranty mailer. Legit?
![]() ![]() Got this in the mail today. Wondering if it is a scam or if it was legit. I don't see any Ford logos or other markings that would connect them to Ford. -Mike |

I wouldn't go as far as saying scam but I would use caution. That $200 discount if buying "on first call" has a high pressure approach. Every lagit company I know of is willing to give you time to research, confir, compare, hash the figures ect after hearing details of what they are offering.

I'm going to go out on a limb and call it the normal bulk mail/junk mail crap.
I'd toss it and look for a legit company, but that's just me. If you need an extended warranty, go to your dealership, bank or credit union. ALL extended warranties are nothing more than insurance policies. At least one of the above 3 can set you up with something that will be accepted nationwide without headaches. Gotta watch these mail version of telemarketers. |

RMIKEMCD,
I got all kinds of those when my warranty was about to expire, Toss it. If you are interested in extended warranty go to Ford and see what they have, It may be more costly but getting the work done when needed may be worth it. |

Any company that lists a phone number as the return address and goes by the name of "Administrative Offices Extended Coverage Division" has got to be full of shyte.
I agree with the above posts; rip that card up. Or have some fun with it. Call up and see what they ask for first - the VIN or your credit card number. I bet they are a lot more interested in your mastercard than your Ford... |
