2 cycle oil in fuel. Whats the latest verdict.
I know this subject has probably been beat to death but I was curious to hear from people who have been running it in a 6.0 for awhile. Any long term problems. I thinking about trying it.

If you keep it at 1oz per gallon you should be fine.
Also make sure it is TCW-3 Ashless, not regular 2-cycle oil. Walmart sells their brand Tech something (I don't remember the whole name). It is TCW-3 Ashless. |

I use it. Havent noticed anything, good or bad, from it.

I havnt used it yet but been thinking about it. I always use the ol tranny fluid and have had good luck with it. Ive heard though it has the same dye marking affects of running off road if you ever got checked. That would be a battle with DOT but screw em.

Same here.
I called Ford and asked one of their diesel techs about it and he said that he would NOT recommend running it in my truck. I instead switched to Lucas Fuel Additive. I was afraid that if I kept running the 2-cycle there was some way they could check the fuel and see if there was something in there that wasn't supposed to be if something bad happened. |

ya but what fine could they give you for having two stroke oil in the diesel. Absolutely jack **** and thats the same with anything as long as it isnt off road what can they do.

Ive been using it over 4 years now, I think that tech is blowing smoke up your *** honestly. It smoothes out your injectors and idle and some seen better mileage.

I was talking about Ford sampling the fuel if something happened to the engine and denying warranty work.

They were talking about 2 stroke and fuel additives in Diesel Power Magazine in the latest issue. They added MPG with it so it does help.

i dont really trust any additives in any 6.0 seems like it will clog your injectors. i was always told to stay away from them.
