mass state inspection?

does anyone know if i can pass mass state emission inspection with a 4" exhaust that doesnt have a cat?

as long as they dont look under it, diesels in MA only have to go through saftey though IIRC

for anyone in mass that needs to know before hand, my 06 did have to go thru emissions testing however with the stock tune and NO cat, i still passed emissions with flying colors. the limit is 20 and my truck ran a 3.

How did you end up having to do emissions testing in mass? I've never heard of that, usually its just a plug into the computer and check for any active codes test. So if your egr delete sets a code it obviously would fail. Is your truck registered as commercial? What did you end up paying for it? I have a few friends at inspection stations and have never heard of this before.

he hooked some long tip thing into the exhaust and revved the sh*t out of it and apparently it passed.
