warranty work

Well i called my warranty place that i have the warranty with on my f250 pick up and asked do i have to bring it to the stealership to have work done.. well they said no i can bring it any where i want to... so my question is will any one help me get studs put in my truck with the warranty? please let me know asap thank you..

That is a good ?, don't know if I have seen it addressed on here about aftermarket warranties(I assume this is an aftermarket warranty based on your statement about "your warranty place") and head studs. I know I read a thread the other day saying that Ford dealers were cracking down on installing studs and most would only install bolts when replacing head gaskets. Don't know about aftermarket warranties. Looks to me like it would depend on how well you know the people at the shop doing the work and how likely the warranty company is to send a rep to inspect the work done by the shop.
