2006 6.0 intake interchange on 2004?

Have an opportunity to pick up an 06 6.0 intake and was curious what all was different? Is it a direct bolt in fit? I wanted a spare in case Cali decides to go crazy after I do the EGR delete. I have heard the 6.0 is better, and a direct fit???

Cool, thanks for the reply. Any difference? "Better" in any way?

I was told the 06 intake was somehow better and was an upgrade to the 04. They look identical to me, but I am still a newb when it comes to this motor. Thank you for clearing that up.

You talking about one with the two holes on the intake welded closed, or something else? Might have to check them out. Crazy expensive? Core deposit?
