How to swap an injector??
Hey yall, im knew here. Anyway i just got done installing my 4" turbo back Diamond eye exhaust kit on my 2007 F250. And while fidgeting with the 4" down pipe fitment on the turbo i hit the #7 injector plug and broke the very top of the injector off half way and the damn plug wont stay on there now! UGH, it was my bad tho. I hit it when my hand slipped off the ratchet workin on the turbo clamp. Messed my knuckles up too!
SO i have to buy a new injector and put it in there now. So how do you do this? |

Also you have an 03 so you have the tube style oil rails, which all you have to do is just unbolt it and lift it out of the way instead of pulling the rail.

Is it possible to just swap the injector plug?
or do the wires just go into the top and not plug in? Last edited by xjtony; 10-04-2009 at 11:12 AM. |

No you cant just switch the wires, you still would have to pull the injector out, the wires are attacked to the top of the injector which controls the spool valve inside.
