What year is the best?

What year is the best to pick up if you are looking for a good quality used 6.0? I am planning to do some mods, and I have seen some years have had turbo problems. I have been looking at a 04 king ranch SRW crew cab. It already has a full turbo back exhaust and a cold air kit. Has 94,000 miles.

it just depends, some are good and some arent.

so its a 50/50

As late of an 07 as possible. But I will say, an original stock programming 03 will run circles around an 07 with stock programming

Good luck getting a straight answer to this one. I did a bunch of research prior to buying my 05 because I have learned of a bunch of problems with the 6.0. I found out that anything 03 or earlier had significant problems.

I have put 80k on this truck and it is still one fine sled.
