Surface heads while doing studs????
Well, I found a good deal on studs so they will go on the shelf while I gather gaskets, seals, probably the EGR delete, but was wondering...
Now, I have the Ex, so I planned on lowering the motor (remove the mounts) and changing the studs one by one instead of breaking the motor open. Should I take a few more days (and a few hundred more dollars {~500ish?}) and pull the heads and have them surfaced? I know Ford sucked at getting them flat, but I don't have leaks or milk in the jug so should I yank the heads or just do the studs one at a time? |
