Help with report. please

I ran a carfax report on My trk. It show's it was in an accident in California. Just give's a report #. It say's anything 500 dollars or over has to be reported in California. But has no info about the accident. I cant find anywhere on the net that will work with the # on the report. And I have no idea where the accident took place in that State. Anybody have any idea's? Thanks

I don't know of any site you can find out that information. Unless you are buddies with a California Police Officer you will be hard pressed to find anything.

If the truck doesn't show any signs like bent frame or dog tracking you should be fine these trucks are built like a tank. It is pretty easy to run up a $500 bill for an accident. I was rearended in my 2000 by a guy in an f150 doing 70mph (I was at a dead stop) The police did not believe I was the other vehicle in the accident it dented my tailgate a little, bent the very bottom of both rear 1/4 panels, dented the bumper, and nocked the safety chain attachments off of the hitch. That was about $5600 to get her fixed.

I did'nt figure it was much. I am think'n bout sell'n My Baby. And did a checkup on Her. I am laid off and the payment's r getting a lil hard to make. My dd is a kia sephia. And the thought of driving that Bi**h everyday. SUX.

he actually hit me twice. He hit me then he was rear ended and he hit me again. It was early on a foggy morning (the wet roads I think saved me) I was turning left off a rural highway I had to wait for a coworker to turn into our drive, he saw the whole thing. I did not know what happened I ended up in the back seat my seat broke after the first hit then the seat shot out from under me on the second it. I had some keys in the pull out ashtray cup holder that was closed at the time, found them a month later behind the back seat along with the cig lighter I thought the repair shop stole/lost them. it opened my glove box and folded the rearview mirrors back. And the A-hole did not have insurance.
