Wat is the best year?
I have a 2001 7.3 dually love it, but wife wants a powerstroke a 7.3's are hard to come by so wat year model 6.0 is best and has least amount of issues, ma have to pull 16-17,000 lb trailer every now and then.

your guessing wrong...
the newer trucks have the newer front end, newer suspension. the early 6.0s were faster trucks. they respond better to tunes and just all around power. problem wise they are all equal. some are good and some just suck. the early build 03s used c94 injectors were as they switched over to the c95s found in the newer trucks. all in all not because i have an 03 but if i had to buy another i wouldn't hesitate to buy another 03 |

I have an '03 and love it. I have had a fraction of the problems that my buddy has had with his late '04.

If I were in the market for a 6.0 I would get a newer(05^) because of the new style front end and coil over suspension. Not because "the later model 6.0ls had the bugs worked out"....

The main issues with early 6.0s was the injectors, head bolts and head gaskets. Those issues were all taken care of by the '05 model year. It's still not a bullet proof engine however with the egr problem that will always be a plague with a diesel engine due to particulates clogging it up. The egr cooler is a potential weak point as well but there are excellent after market coolers if you have to keep the egr installed.
