03 ford f 350 falling part

I have an 03 F350 dually with 115K on it, I had one injector put in this sping and now the truck acts the same way, it wont hardly pull itself for the first mile and when it warms up it runs better. At times there is white smoke. Thats problem #1 the next problem is the transmission, I can count to 10 or 15 before it goes into reverse and most of the time I have to give it a little pedal, then it slams into gear. thats problem #2 the rear springs are so soft that they touch the overloads all the time. My question is do I give up on this truck or keep pouring money into it??

those arent really problems i would consider selling the truck over.

get the truck scanned and see what kinda codes its hiding, i bet there is another problem and it could be another injector. those early c94 injectors were awful.

few questions for you....

how is the maintenance on the truck, oil changes, fuel filter change often.

do you let the truck even warm up before leaving?

may sound stupid but how is the tranny fluid level? how does it smell?

and with the suspension what are you loading that the springs touch the over loads?

how are the leafs and shocks?

I change oil every 7K, fuel filters every 15K. the tranny fluid level is right up there, and it doesnt smell burnt. I pull a 32 foot GN with about 18000lbs on it plus the weight of the trailer.
