Has anyone tried a CP3 conversion on their 6.0?

we dont have that type of injection nor do we have an injection pump. our injectors are electronic. i know one guy who made an injection pump work on a 6.0. i never read up on it anymore. i heard it was running though

Swamps has a front cover for the 7.3 so you can replace the HEUI system with a cp3/p-pump/whatever and run it off the factory timing gears.

I don't think anybody's tried to do anything like that for the 6.0

Yeah, the 7.3 HPOP runs off the timing gears on the front of the motor.

The 6.0 HPOP is on the back of the motor, but I was thinkin it ran on the same type of setup.

Swamps makes a timing cover for the front of a 7.3, that replaces the entire front timing cover and the HPOP res and HPOP mount. You can mount a CP3, or a P-Pump, or any other inline injection pump to it.

I was speakin genericly, when I said I don't think anybody's tryin to make anything like that for the 6.0.
