low voltage #7

my old man has a 6.0 he got a code that said low voltage # 7 any one know what to do. its stock nothing done to it anything would help thanks. ( I told him to just get a 7.3)

whats the exact code?

i would say if it has a low voltage it could be a problem in the wiring. possible a bad wire or something like that. could be a bad harness or maybe the harness has came off the injector harness.

get the code and that could tell some more

the codes are po 279 was the low voltage one and i guess he had po 611 also

what year is the truck? is there any warranty left?

those codes are FICM related (fuel injector control module) its either bad or there is a wiring problem

see if you can get the truck scanned at ford and see what the voltage going in and coming out is.
