HELP with 4X4

im pulling my truck tonight so i was checking the it out and from what i can tell the 4low is not working! it has the shift on the fly. i can tell it locks into 4 hi but when i switch it to 4low the low range light does not come on??? and i can not physically tell a diffrence. anything i can do?

sry dumb question but did you have the truck stoped and in netural?

no dumb question, yes i made sure of that, i tried that and also drive too

humm thats werid. I dont know much about that stuff but are there fuses for 4hi and 4l?

thats a good thought ill look into that. i dont know how well it do in 4hi??? but i know 4low is the way to go if i can

ya. i pulled one time with my 6.0 in 4l and 3rd gear and got first. I hope you find your problem quick and easy. Good luck tonight on the pull

Maybe unhook your batterys for about 20 minutes and then hook them back up. Just a shot in the dark. I would also check all the wires just in case something may not be connected good.
