I thought I read an injector replacement write-up somewhere. Does anyone have a link? I need to replace #8 and I have never replaced a 6.0L injector. I did them on my 7.3, but this is a different animal.

Get all of the stuff out of your way and get the valve cover off. Once you have the valve cover off, remove the Oil Log. Since you have an '03, you should be able to just twist it out of your way carefully. Once you have the oil log out of the way, take a T40 torx bit and and loosen the injector hold down. Don't forget to unplug the injector from the harness. Pull the injector out and inspect the injector hole for debris. One thing to note, make sure you take a Q-tip and swab the hold down bolt hole to get all the oil out. You can't compress a liquid and the bolt may feel like it is tight, but it will come loose. I will try to find the link you are looking for, but this should help for now.
