put some duals on off a chevy

have a buddy with some silver line duals he didnt wont any more, so i told him ill take them off. i figured i would have to cut and turn and weld to get to fit, but was i wrong welded the ypipe to my exhaust and slipped it all on. the only thing i cut was the tail pipes where the tips slip on, they stuck out a little far about 6". i never would have thought they would go right on. oh yea it was a 03 3500 2wd dually duramax
