I've heard of PSD's making anywhere between 10-20 MPG depending on your load and iif you buy a tuner.

WELCOME WISEGUY32!
I get around 18 on the Predator with my foot out of it. When I get on her......well......it's a blast but mileage is gone.
The only problem I've had was a stuck auto locking hub that didn't disengage when I came out of 4X. It wasn't a big deal, I just noticed a strange sound in the front end on slow sharp turns so I took her in. My truck is flat out AWESOME and I wouldn't change her for the world - so any advice I can give you would be to go for it. I think you'll be back on here thanking me.

I have ann 04, and I get 15.8 around town, I suppose it would be better, if I could keep my foot out of it. It is hard to do with these trucks!! You will LOVE your PSD, trust me!! I had a V-10 SD before this one, and I LOVE this one even MORE!!

I have a 03' 6.0 I LOVE IT!! i get about 18mpg. But, in 06' the 2007 models will be out or coming out and they are rumored to have a 6.4 w/ twin turbo so im not sure about mpg then.

Diesel is always better!

Hey Wise I gotta say just by going to the diesel you should experience better mileage if not the same......but consider that the diesel truck you buy is most like going to be around 1000 pounds heavier. Consider that in my 1995 Chevy XC SB z71 on 35" tires I averaged around 12-13 at best. The truck weighed a bit over 6000 pounds. My PSD is a CC LB and has 35's on it too, and weighs around 8000 pounds and gets about 17-19. I know the Titan has more advanced gas engines but still, you won't find the low end torque and towing perforance in them. Just throw a programmer on a diesel and you get an extra 100+ HP and 200+ TQ! In a gas - 30 and 50 if you're lucky!

Another thing to look at is gear ratio. With a low gear ratio, you wont be getting as good of fuel economy. I think 3:73 is the best gear ratio for fuel economy. My dad has 4:11's or 4:10's in his truck and only gets 15.

4.88!

I'm going to go down to 4.88's soon....I have 35's already and ideally 4.56 is pretty good for those. But i plan on a new lift for my truck soon and 37's so I'm gonna need some extra reduction to get 'em spinnin!
