egr cooler or head gaskets??

we have a f250 work truck we bought about 2 months ago from a relative and let another relative use it to tow a trailer from out of state on the way back the truck started over heating and blowing white smoke so we sent another truck to tow that one back. if you pop the radiator cap and crank it it pukes out it has 122,xxx miles any thoughts on what it is?
thanks , Chris

Elevated coolant temps (overheating) along with puking indicate head gasket problems.

Just went through this. Sounds like the head gaskets.

If its blowing white smoke..I would start with the cheapest stuff first, EGR cooler and Oil cooler.

Its out of warranty, delete the egr cooler and replace the oil cooler and that may solve your problem, if the oil cooler gets restricted enough, it can cause puking.
