Tried Diesel Kleen..truck not happy..

My truck was running fine but after reading about lubricity and injectors being cleaned up I decided to try a bottle of Diesel Kleen. Now I've got a slight miss in the engine. Hopefully once all of the additive is gone it will clear up...

check fuel filter, i have heard some people that after adding it, it loosened gunk in the fuel lines and plugged filter

Ok, I'll check the filter this weekend, it only misses at idle that I can tell... I added the recommended amount for my size tank.

Hmmm I just did the same its causing my truck to run bad. But I added more then usual.

ya thats happens.... Myaby use a different type of cleaner. Seafoam works great.

Makes mine miss at idle every time. Takes almost a tank after the one with Diesel Kleen to clear up and it did not seem to matter how much I used. Don't add anything anymore and it runs good.

Wow, I was about to create a thread on how much it helped mine??

Mine was acting up, I added the recommended "double dose" on the back. Says to do that to speed up the effects of it. Truck started running great and now today has a weird problem. It will occasionally act like I floored the pedal for a fraction of a second cruising down the road. It has also cut out on me at idle a few times today, it revs up real smooth and perfect until it hiccups then runs fine after that...thought it mighta been an injector but now seeing this maybe its not?!

When i bought my truck i ran 2 full bottles thru my first 2 tanks (one per tank) and the truck coughed up all sorts of crap out of the exhaust and ran great.

I always used Stanadyne performance additive for my old NA 6.2 diesel and it loves the stuff. You could literally tell the difference. I have not tried it with my new 6.0 but probably will once I find it.
