Once more on my injectors
Okay as I said in my last thread, the dealer reprogrammed my FICM. They said if it does anything bring it back, and they will replace the injectors. The truck is running pretty good now but, My question to you guys: Should I ride it, or take it back, say I had another issue and have injectors installed before my warranty expires????

how long do you have left on your warranty

Let it ride for now. They made an electronic change by reprogramming your FICM; it won't take long if it is truly a mechanical (HPOP/injectors) problem.

BLACK: I have 79k (had 62k in Feb when I bought it) and if I don;t make it to 100k the warranty goes in July '10
EvilEye: I agree, that is probably what I am going to do. I have also noticed the truck sounds different (under the hood at idle) and when you turn the key and the pump starts, it sounds different.... Time will tell (i have been kind of running it HARD) |

They wont change the injectors unless they can confirm what you say is true. Ride it around for a little bit more, if it was the injectors you'll know.

they will only replace up to 3 injectors at a time, so if you have more then that bad, you will have to make a couple trips.
