extra warranty

this is kinda of topic of anything but has anyone out there ever bought that engine and vehicle warranty that you see on tv. They say theyll cover your cost if you need a new motor or anything and just wondering if it would be worth getting or if anyone has it.

every one ive looked into will not support mods if that helps.

what do they consider mods. I mean do they say if you have after market intake and exhaust thats mods or do they mean if you have a chip for it. If thats the case the sct wont show up if you pull it out before you take it in.

it has got to be a scam, they want to warranty our extremely used vehicles.

IF you think pulling your SCT out wont show you are wrong my friend. Theres many ways to find out what the truck has been doing, a good tech will know how to find it and just parameters as well.
