Blackstone report
Got my first test back and am a little worried. I've got 2% fuel in my oil and as a result the viscosity 3 points below the minimum. I changed it 4300 miles. To keep it in spec that means I will have to change it every 3k or less. The Ford dealer said they couldn't find anything wrong. Any ideas?

See if it will through any code ( pertaining to injectors ) if no codes, put some miles on it and do another sample, Blackstone says 2% is max safe diesel in fuel ratio, but I'd keep an eye on it to be on the safe side.

not to hijack this thread but
this brings up a question and I've been wondering if it is worth it, but is anyone running a bi-pass filtration system? I keep seeing the adds in the Diesel mag and you never know what is hype and what works. I don't know of anyone locally who has this set up but have thought to look into it.
any input Scott |
