Oil Filtration System?

I've seen on here where it is recommended that to have a good 6.0L PSD, three major things need to happen... change the head bolts, delete the EGR cooler and invest in a good oil filtration system. I haven't had head problems YET and I've already deleted the EGR. I'm completely clueless about the oil filtration system. Can someone explain what it is, what it does and how to upgrade so I can rest easy with my PSD?

you are looking at a by-pass filtration kit, it takes a small portion of the oil and filters it thru a smaller partical filter. i would go to POWERSTROKEHELP.COM - The Information Source for Ford Power Stroke Diesel Owners and click on 6.0psd and then click on the bypass filter link, then watch all the videos. this should answer all of your questions and then some.
