My 1st 06 PSD 6.0L

Just picked up my first PSD and I am loving it. Already did a few mods and they are working gr8. I have a 2006 6.0L stocker with 45000 on it. I use it strickly for pleasure and occassional towing 3000lb trailer. Do I need to worry about the Head gaskets and studs? Please help..ty.

Welcome to the Org!! Really depends on the mods, if you add any type of tuner you definitely want to consider the studs, but with only 45k you can hold off and worry more about that if you do blow your gaskets. Towing is where I blew my head gaskets, but I also run custom tunes and run it pretty hard much of the time. Thanks for supporting the Org as well

I have not considered any tunes as of yet. I want to do the Zoodad and Gauges- EGT - Trans - and Trans Temp. Man the MPG is a shocker....But I LUV driving this Truck. Neighbors don't like it much! But God Bless America..I can drive want I want to Drive!!!!

Mine is a 06 I bought her with 29000 on it and ran tunes on it or about a year before doing heads, only reason doing heads is I had it done under warrenty and add H1 head bolts. But it was fine for the hole year just watch what your doing and she will take care of you . No real reason to stress over it like I did .
