EGR Upgrade failures?

Has anyone experienced or known any of these so called EGR 'upgrades' to fail in a way similar to the OEM unit?? I'd hate to spend money on an 'upgrade' that would fail as well.

My SCT that deletes the EGR valve and the block-off plate have been doing OK.

No problems.

I haven't had any issues with the same style setup.

Send a message via AIM to 03f250stroke
spend the money and do the egr delete. you wont have to worry about it

i have personally seen the "freeze plug" fail and the "upgraded" cooler is totally bs imo

The whole freeze plug idea isn't smart anyway. I had a 1/4" thick piece of stock welded in the up-pipe. It's been just fine for over 75k.
