Zoodad Mod

I am very pleased with this mod. It dropped my egts down a good 100 degrees going down the freeway. Thought I would just post this.

It is a hole that is cut in front of the air intake snorkel that is just behind the header panel behind the grill.

It allows more airflow to the air intake that leads to the turbo.

not much really just where your stock intake goes to the front of the truck right by the intercooler and radiator. You cut out a hole in front of that. Pull your grill out then you get easy access and cut a hole right in front of it. Has a ram air effect that way. I dont have the stock intake I have a K&N so it doesnt really ram the air in just gets cooler air in for me

I did mine and it showed no difference at all on my gauge, that might be because I dont have the stock airbox anymore so it was already pulling more air...

There are all kinds of ways to screen the hole (or not). I am going to have a removable or sliding (something) plate for when I rains or snows just to be safe.

You did a nice job with it. Where did you source the insert for the cutout? In the Florida heat I see my IAT's climb to 140F in traffic so anything to cut them down some would be great.
