Updated hose off turbo

I am fixing to have a new turbo installed the dealer made mention of a updated oil hose for the turbo. Anyone know what he was talking about he said I should go ahead and replace this if I am putting a new turbo on. Just wondering why they updated it and whats different.

its the turbo oil feed line. if you look on your turbo you will see 2 bolts holding on a flange and its a braided hose. i havent heard about an updated hose but that doesnt mean it doesnt exist

They told me that the hose that is on mine and the trucks from the factory on the bends of the of hose is flat spots the updated one does not have any flat spots again this is what I was told for $30 bucks I got one coming might as well put it on.

Maybe the dealer was talking about the updated Turbo drain tube.

yea the drain tube has been revised and its larger, dunno about a larger feed line..

it maybe the drain tube I am not sure he just said it was a updated tube
