Talk about a bad 24 hours

Well it starts off yesterday at lunch time on I-20. Was heading east in Grand Praire from the bank and a Dmax with a couple of kids flys past me. they slow down and look back at me, then all the sudden a freakin bottle is headed towards the windshied. BAAAAAM right into the lower portion on top of the drivers side wiper, nice crack started. Dmax was way mooded as I couldnt gain on him at all.
Last night took the family to our Nieces 1st Bday party at Chucky Cheese in Grand Prairie last night. Upon leaving I noticed my rear drivers side window didnt look right as I get closer its broken. Briefcase stolen and glass everywhere. Lots of financial stuff missing 30 gig ipod gone and a garage door opener to the house we are selling gone as well. Lovely place, GPPD took an hour to get there. said "check the dumpsters for your briefcase".

So this morning I am off to get the window replaced $210.00 plus have it retinted $20. Cant afford to do the windsheild yet as its $300. While backing in to the tint shop I crack the passangers side mirror all to hell, even broke the marker light. Ford wants $440 for the parts.

Does anyone have any idea where I can get the mirror assembly and back cover for less and how to install them???

Thank God tommrow is a new day. Any help would be appreeciated

nope, Dmax was a good 50 yards ahead before the bottle was thrown, he smoked me and I couldnt catch him. Was really fast. It was a custom truck. I will se it again and inact my revenge.

Man, sorry to hear about your day. I can't believe anyone would just throw something out the window on purpose because of the rig you're driving. Some people are freakin idots. You're lucky you didn't get into a wreck and only have a cracked windshield. To bad you didn't get the plate numbers for the DMax.

man that sucks!hey just an idea i just replaced my windshield my insurance covered it waived the deductable cost me nothing you may want to check to see if they will cover it for you.

already did $500 deductible.

they coverd mine under comprehensive,$100.00 deduct. instead of collision which has a $500 it may be set up different than your insurance.just trying to help with your bad day.

Man thats a tough story, post a detailed description of the Dmax and maybe some other members in the DFW area will help you keep a look out!
