Fuel light question
I'd like to introduce myself for my 1st post with a question.
I recently traded my 03 f-250 xlt for a 05 f-250 xlt fx4....it had not been driven for 2 months & told my wife to drive it till the fuel light came on then bang! ran out of diesel before getting close to the E. My question is does the truck have a fuel light cause on my 03 i could go 80 miles with the light before running out. thanks & love the site. Last edited by jspectyper; 02-22-2007 at 09:41 AM. |

If it only took 25 gallons then it sounds like bigcountry might be right about the fuel sending unit. I have have a 29 gallon tank I think that that is the smallest tank that ford puts in the f250.
