I can't say exact mileage since I've gotten the truck but I'd guess less than 1000 miles total since I purchased it 2 months ago. The mileage shown on the sales receipt above wasn't 100% accurate since I bought it with 103,XXX miles. I had it for a weekend test drive before I purchased it and it was somewhere around 102,6XX when I took it out the first time. Without any paperwork from the Ford dealer (and my lack of writing stuff down!) I don't know how many miles I've put on the "new" head gaskets either. Actually...I can go add up my gas receipts. I've filled up twice (full tanks) since I picked it up and it had 60 miles on it from the techs.

The whole truck and engine were spotless when I bought it. When I dropped it off to get the work done it was still clean and picked up in the same condition. It had gotten dirty a little bit dirtier since but not any hardcore mudding by any means.

After adding up receipts I'm a little bit off with my mileage estimates. I've got a little bit more than 1000 miles on the truck and about 650 of them are since the head gasket install.

Well someone is getting double payed for the work, if they are doing it for free than why did you even bother buying that insurance?

The dealer I purchased the vehicle from offered to refund me the money for the warranty but that's not really what I wanted. They ended up offering to replace the head gaskets if I kept the warranty and I agreed.

well from the pictures i saw looks like your truck is blowing coolant out the degas bottle thats what the white residue looks like to me anyway. that or they just over filled it. but good luck on getting them studs back or at least finding them. man that dealership could be up a creak without a paddle when it comes to warrenty work if they are trying to do ford like that. they ford will go back and audit every warrenty claim that has been filed and if they dont have all there ducks in a row they will pull there franchise like that.
