Innovative or Cale?

Which set of tunes is better as far as ponies, shifting, and smoke goes. Just thinking for the future.

Its a tough choice for me. I love Cales shifting. But Erics drivability is better. Erics shifting is excellent too though.

If i could get a mix of the two it would be awesome

Its not just cale but any tune I have tried besides SCT canned tunes and Innovative, I would get a Fuel pressure related code. I vote for Innovative, great power, knows when to unlock converter.

If you are going by sound Cale and the other custom one I have, they sounds louder, because they open the vanes of the turbo more, and its got alot of bark, almost too much sometimes running straight pipe.

The innovative tune keeps the vanes tight and builds a little more boost, and doesnt have quite as much bark, but its still def there.

I ran Cale's 140 tune on my truck before I had studs and didn't run into any problems. I love the way Cale's tunes run, but cannot say about Innovative because I have never ran them.

Call the tuner of you choice and tell them what you want. They will send you a custom tune written for your truck to your e-mail and then you have to download the tunes into your programmer. That is all there is to it. If you need any help, there is a site called dieseltalk.com that will walk you through the steps.

i've been tuned with no studs for 8 months or so and no issues but some trucks have problems and other dont ... if you are under warranty you may be able to find a tech who will put them in under warranty. That is how im getting mine put in cheaply
