Love it. No serious problems, but did have to have the "O" rings replaced on 2 injectors at 4,000 miles. Had a TSB done for surging under load. No other problems except the heavy right foot syndrome that most PSD owner seem to develop within a couple days of purchase. Have never driven anything but a Ford Diesel, so I can't compare it to any other mfg. Went whole hog and picked up an F350 Crew Cab Dually with the King Ranch package and a few more goodies back when the big 3 were having their car wars. Sticker was a few buck shy of $50K, but I was able to get it for significanly less.

I love my 04. I've had all of the recalls sone. The only problems I've had are the EGR valve and the soleniod for the throttle plate. Keith

My 04 has 48k ,had 4 injecters bad about 35k, and now today am starting to hear what sounds like noise from the powersteering pump. This is My 7th powerstroke and I can say( execpt for 1 7.3 that I destroyed driving back from FL. because a dealer could not take the time to fix it!) I have had very good luck with them! Now the front ends, u jounts,and brakes are anouther story!

2006 F350 4x4 Crew cab powerstroke. I bought the truck in December and it has been in the shop twice. A new instrument cluster was apparantly the fix for both problems. I like the truck itself, but I get horrible mileage towing. I opted for the diesel over the V10 for that reason only. 8.2 MPG with the diesel is not acceptable. If you do the math the V10 would have been a more economical choice.

Just hit 3000 miles. It has not been in the shop as of yet. Sticker $49K
Not good MPG but not as bad as privious post. 10.5-12 MPG towing 9500lbs or so and 14-15 not towing. If I baby it a lot I can get higher. After doing some research I increased my air in all my tires from 53 to 67. I am sure that will help my mpg.

I took my rig to the Cat scales on Saturday. Hooked up to my 5th wheel my truck weighed 10,040lbs. Unhooked from the 5er it weighed 8640lbs.

If you think about it that is a lot of weight and if you get about 15 mpg that is not all that bad. I hope to add some cetone, increase tires psi and get it broke in then getting 17 MPG.

53 is low unloaded...i would reccomend 60 PSI....and loaded i would reccomend 65 in the front and 70-75 in the rear....depending on trailer wieght.......tire pressures affect fuel economy greatly....and its something all should look at.......at minimum check your pressures every oil change....(dont trust someone else at the quick lube to check them).....and i would reccomend it once a week....it doesnt take that long..........Marc

The best part of the superduty is the cab. Love everything about it. My 04' 6.0 has had a few minor problems, like heater problems, and 4x4 auto hubs unlocking, and then there is the twice blow head gaskets, but that because the tuners(but ohhhh the power). it was just under 45k sticker. We have another 04' 6.0 F-350 standard cab on the farm, it had an injector o-ring fix at 2000 miles, that they said was put in wrong, and since just rolled over 36,000 with no problems. it was around 35k sticker.

I missed this when you first posted this Power95 - Not sure you still need it but here it is;
It's no secret to anyone here I think my '05 is friggin awesome. Only problem I have had is an auto unlocking hub not unlocking. Other than that she's rock solid at about......I think 23,000 miles or so. It stickered at roughly 45K but I walked out way under that.
