head lights and tow hooks

how do the tow hooks go on? they were mounted to a brush guard when we got the truck but i took it off a while back
i assume they sit inside the frame rails and bolt up but do the nuts sit on the frame rail or does the hook sit on it ?

and i also put new bulbs in the head lights that i had laying around the shop but now when i turn the lights on the high beam indicator comes on and i only have hi beams or low beams in not realy sure which one but its the same result lol

i cant remember the number off the bulbs but they looked the same as the ones that came out except that these are silver stars

on my 05 the tow hooks set inside the frame and 3 bolts come up from under the frame and thread into the hooks..not sure on your headlight question..

but do the nuts sit on the frame or point up?

Your best bet is going to be heading down to your local walmart or menards store parking lost, spot another powerstroke, and take a look at how the hooks mount. It's not that hard.
