SCT vs EDGE PLATINUM W/ATTITUDE MON

Well as i look farther and farther into this forum everyone seems to like the SCT chip...but i know a bunch of people that have the edge platinum and they love it...therfore brings me to my question....

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE between the sct and the edge lol and why are the differences so important ( if any )

oh and if possible, whats the best cold air to use ?

SCT is the best because, it actually tunes your transmission along with your engine, therefore protecting the tranny from blowing up when using high HP tunes from custom tunes. All the Edge does, is de-fuel between shifts, once it shifts the power IMO, smacks it into gear. SCT will raise line pressures, making for firm yet precise shifts. There are MANY here that have lost trannies to Edge, BD, and Banks, due to the fact that they ONLY create engine power, and offer nothing to protect the tranny from the high HP. Edge sells more, because they advertise more, plain and simple

hmm..thats a pretty good answer lol, im still kinda new at all this so ima ask a buncha questions lol. where is the best place to get this SCT chip + tunes ? for a reasonable amount of $$ ?

^^ what he said is dead on..with a couple additions. SCT is also upgradeable for when amd if you ever want to add larger injectors or turbos and maybe an aftermarket trans, you edge will be useless at that point.

You're going to need guages, so I'd get ahold of Raul at Stealth Auto. He's a vendor here and has good deals on combo kits, SCT/guages. He get's his tunes from Innovative Diesel, which is who I also recommend
